Adding Quality to life

Plymouth has a rich history dating back as far as the 1400's with the original inhabitants, the Dakota, living on the northern shores of Medicine Lake. The seventh largest city in the state, it was named the number one city in which to live in the United States by Money Magazine in 2008. Their Parks and Recreation system is highly regarded for it's facilities, parks, and extensive system of trails.

Local Events

Don't let the snow stop you from getting some fresh air and exercise this winter. French Lake Regional Park has some fantastic groomed trails for winter hiking and cross country skiing, as well as a large sledding hill for the kids. Ice fishing on Medicine lake is always a great time when the temperature drops below zero too! You'll see plenty of brightly colored fish huts during the winter months standing out from the ice and snow.
